Black Bear Soccer

Christian ready for his first big night of soccer! Although he is minus chin guards as we couldn't find them in the garage...Needless to say, it hurt the first time he got kicked in the chin. On the to do list: Find chin guards and buy new shoes as we didn't realize how worn out they were! Anyway, I digress...He was so excited and nervous for his first big night of sports. It took me all night long to convince him this wasn't the championship or a tournament. He has watched his older siblings compete ever since he has been with us, and thought all of the money was riding on this night. I had to explain to him that he just needed to relax and learn how to play. That when he was little he could try all different things until he found something that he really liked. But for right now he just needed to slow down and have lots of fun. This he was finally okay with, but not having treats after practice until the games officially start--That was probably the biggest dilemma of all. He really has waited his whole life for this moment and he wants to make sure he gets to participate and enjoy every single moment, perk, and privilege! You know, it doesn't help that he has four older siblings who love to tease him! Oh well, it is not a perfect life, but it is our life and we love it. Good luck Christian!
Proud to be #3! Black Bears Team
Listening to his new coach. That is one of our goals for next week--He promised he would talk less and listen more. Holy Moly!
New friends learning how to play.

wow he sure is growing up. It is fun for the little brothers and sisters to get to paly after watching the older siblings playing. Kylee gets to play softball this year and she can not wait.
