Autumn Adventures

  • Time flies when you are having fun, so here is a recap of the last month and a half.  :)
Samuel's only win of the season!  They were number one for one game.  They did a great job--They had a really young team.  But he had a good time and learned so much.  It was so exciting to win at least one game!

Abigael's 8th grade volleyball team had an excellent season with just two losses.  This is her friend Katie who was also a setter.  Abigael will be playing club volleyball again this year, but with Omega Volleyball Club.  She is so excited!  Can you believe she will be a freshman in high school next year and Kelsey will be a senior?

A picnic at Dry Fork Canyon.  One last shin dig before it got too cold for a picnic.

Savannah's sixth grade volleyball team for the Rough Riders went undefeated for the season.  Savannah will also be playing on a traveling club volleyball team again this year.  She had a great time playing with the school.  She even got her jump serve down this year which is amazing for a 6th grader!  The high school coach couldn't believe it when he saw her.  It is all of those years of throwing a softball!

Autumn Bash--Tabitha and Rich ended up having to come out so Rich could measure a house to dry wall.  Since they were here, we invited everyone to come to our house--We made a party out of it!  We ate dinner and had a Halloween Carving Night.  The finished product was awesome!

How did this picture get here?  Sorry, I can't seem to be able to move it.  See below.  :)

Halloween Bandits!  Can you believe this is the first year in 16 years we have been at home to hand out Halloween candy?  Kelsey hasn't dressed up in a few years, but Savannah and Abigael didn't either.  Of course, they were sick, but maybe they are out of that phase?  Although, they told me they most definitely would have dressed up if they weren't sick!
Kelsey and her friends for the high school Deer Hunt Dance.  You can definitely call this the Hill Billy Dance.  The girls have to buy a "tag" and then "tag" their date.  Yes, the boy/deer can run if they don't want to go the dance with someone.  Kelsey got her deer on the first try.  :)  As you can see their shirts got into the spirit of the dance.
