Dog Days of Summer Winding Down

 We had a short summer vacation with the Hartle Family over 4th of July weekend!  Jay and Lois took the Hartle Clan to Salt Lake City for a weekend of fun.  First we stayed at an indoor water park and went to the Fireworks with Rich and Tabitha's Family in Riverton, then it was off to Lagoon the next day, and the weekend ended with us going to Despicable Me Two at the IMAX in SLC on Saturday.  Don't we all wish vacations could be longer?  It was such a fun weekend!

 Isn't Dorky Samuel cute with Uncle Rich and Tired Christian?  The fireworks were the best we have ever seen.  Way to go Riverton!

 Samuel at the State 10 U Championships.  Samuel's team was tied in the 2nd round of state play when he hit his first home run--But not just any home run, it was an over the fence grand slam to win the game!  That is Samuel in the middle trying to look humble.  He got to keep the ball so he had his whole team sign it.  The tournament also gave him a trophy to set it on.  He felt so proud because it was the first Hartle Home Run.  Of course he had to call and tell his sisters right away.  They called him a punk, but told him it was totally cool that he got to be the first one in our family to get an over the fence home run! The team placed sixth at state this year.  They have made so many improvements since last year! 

Savannah going to the One Direction Concert in SLC!  She had been waiting since Christmas and her Birthday to cash in her tickets given to her by her Grandpa Jay and Grandma Lois!  I don't think I have ever seen so many screaming girls in one place!

 Savannah was able to take her friend, Aislynn.  Aislynn thought she had died and gone to heaven!

 Beautiful sisters!  Kelsey and Abigael both competed in pageants this summer.  Both won some great awards and are planning on doing more next year!  They are definitely Salt and Pepper!

Happy 18th Birthday Kelsey!  Kelsey leaves to college on August 22nd to play college softball in Colorado!
